Hi, I'm Carlee Jeanne! I’m a professional editor and writer with 10 years of experience working with publishers, businesses, authors, professors and researchers.
I’m from a small town in New York, but I've traveled from Ecuador to India and beyond, only growing more curious about this wide world and its inhabitants.
I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 with a B.A. in journalism and minors in Spanish and cultural anthropology.
I founded ēmendātum in 2022, and while the road has not always been easy, it's one I could never leave. I have a strong network of authors, researchers and businesses for whom I edit or craft copy. I am always happy to expand my network, so please reach out!
About ēmendātum
My reason for founding ēmendātum was to help others toward their dreams. Reading the experiences of others and learning from their expertise, diving into language, grammar and story, these are all joys of mine. However, helping perfect your passion projects or works of labor so that you feel confident to publish and share your words with the world is why I do what I do.
I have edited textbooks regarding social work, medical fellowship applications, memoirs and more. If you have an incredible story but aren't a wordsmith, I can help. If you're a wordsmith who needs a second pair of eyes on your work, I can help.
